Our client, a premier national financial crime intelligence authority shaping South Africa's defence against money laundering, cybercrime and terrorist financing, is seeking a seasoned Open-Source Intelligence Specialist to lead advanced OSINT operations, blockchain tracing, dark-web intelligence gathering, and cyber-forensics to support high-impact investigations.
What You Will Be Doing.
- Lead advanced OSINT investigations across internet, deep web, dark web, social media & blockchain platforms.
- Conduct crypto-asset tracing using specialised tools.
- Deploy and manage OSINT technical equipment and platforms (Linux / open-source toolkits).
- Produce strategic and operational intelligence reports for high-level decision-making.
- Provide technical surveillance countermeasures.
What You Must Have.
- Degree in Computer/Digital Forensics, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related.
- 6+ years in cybercrime, cybersecurity investigations, OSINT, or intelligence analysis.
- Strong OSINT tool capability (e.g., Maltego, i2 Analyst Notebook, TRM Labs).
- Strong blockchain/crypto investigation skills (Ethereum, Bitcoin, chain analytics).
- Advanced Linux, networking, cyber-threat intelligence & investigative research skills.
