A well-known and established international Coatings raw material company requires the above to drive new business development as well as manage all key accounts and principals on a national basis within the decorative, automotive and industrial coatings and related manufacturing markets.
Minimum requirements for the role:
- Tertiary qualification in chemistry or related qualification is preferred but not essential for the role.
- Previous key account or product management sales experience promoting speciality and commodity raw materials into the decorative, automotive and industrial coatings manufacturing industry is preferred for the role.
- The successful candidate must have a strong commercial drive, analytical mindset and good interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and achieving sales targets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:- Driving new business development as well as manage all key accounts and principals on a national basis within the decorative, automotive and industrial coatings and related manufacturing markets.
- Maximizing profitability, controlling working capital, growing the portfolio and achieving budgetary objectives for your selected product portfolio.
- Managing principals and introducing new product ranges, concepts and applications to the market.
- Providing technical assistance to customers on a range of products.
- Presenting and driving a business plan which will include strategies and sales forecasts for annual budgets.
- Managing stock forecasts, debtor and working capital.
- Presenting reports to senior management.
- Building strong relationships with technical and commercial stakeholders at client organisations.
- Providing expert technical advice and commercial solutions on coatings raw materials.
- Collaborating with R&D and technical service teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Representing the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and customer meetings.
