About the Role
Browns Recruitment is a UK-based executive search firm specialising in placing attorneys across the US legal market (insurance defense, general liability, medical malpractice, workers' compensation, and commercial litigation).
We are hiring two South Africa-based recruitment resourcers who want a stable long-term role, with the option to grow into a full US recruiter or closer in the future.
This role is ideal for:
- paralegals
- legal secretaries
- legal case managers
- US recruitment resourcers
- experienced VAs with legal exposure
- LLB graduates who prefer legal/admin work over practicing law
What You Will Do
- Handle replies from US attorneys
- Draft polished overview replies using templates
- Understand basic legal terminology (depositions, discovery, motions, med-mal, liability)
- Pre-qualify candidates via email or short calls (if trained)
- Chase CVs and maintain communication threads
- Keep LOXO CRM accurate and up to date
- Prepare brief summaries of candidates
- Assist with Pirical data and building candidate lists
- Coordinate interview schedules
- Manage follow-ups and keep candidates warm
- Work closely with the Director and US hiring partners

Requirements
- Excellent written English
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work US hours (3pm-11pm SAST)
- Confident with tech tools (CRM, LinkedIn, Gmail, spreadsheets)
- Understanding of legal terminology OR US recruitment experience
- Reliable internet and quiet home work setup
