Our client - a leading KwaZulu-Natal development finance institution with a strong mandate to empower entrepreneurs and build sustainable regional businesses - is looking for a dynamic Executive: Business Finance to join their executive team based in Durban.
What You'll Lead:
- Strategy, policy and process development for the Business Finance division
- Credit assessments, due diligence, loan approvals and monitoring
- Development of SME/enterprise support interventions
- Risk, compliance and governance (PFMA, Banks Act, FAIS, FICA, NCA)
- Stakeholder partnerships, syndications & economic development initiatives
- Budgeting, financial planning and divisional performance
- Leadership of specialist teams within Business Finance
What You Should Have:
- Postgraduate qualification in Finance / Business Management / Commercial Law.
- 8-10 years in financial services/development finance/economic development.
- 5-7 years at senior management level.
- Strong expertise in credit risk, due diligence, financial modelling, PFMA, governance, and SME finance.
- An MBA will be an added advantage.
