One of our clients, a South Africa's only specialist agricultural bank dedicated to serving both commercial and emerging farmers through innovative financial services is seeking a highly skilled Agricultural Collateral Valuation Specialist to provide professional valuation services that support effective collateral management across various provinces.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Conduct detailed assessments and valuations of agricultural assets including land, farms, plantations, livestock, crops, and equipment.
- Perform on-site visits to assess collateral condition and value.
- Prepare comprehensive valuation reports including viability analysis, risk assessments, and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain an agricultural knowledge database.
- Conduct agronomical assessments and provide technical advice.
What You Must Have:
- A relevant 3-year qualification in Agriculture or equivalent.
- 5+ years' experience as a Valuator in the Agricultural sector.
- 5+ years' experience in Agricultural businesses, Co-ops, or similar organizations.
- Strong knowledge of property and loose asset valuation principles.
- Understanding of risk management and lending/credit assessment principles.
