Key Responsibilities
- Make sure that work is conducted in a safe manner and according to instructions and regulations, create and ensure high SHE awareness in the plant.
- Ensure optimum production, producing according to specifications.
- Ensure that log sheet reports are filled in
- Daily instructions are read and action executed.
- Ensure all aspects of the operation are logged and discussed during shift change over.
- Be oriented about the status in the plant and report deviations to relevant personnel
- Make sure that actions are taken to keep the plant in stable and safe operation.
- Supervision of raw material intakes- Responsible for training of operators and utilize their time efficiency.
- Ensure the competence of the employees through training and job rotation.
- Ensure that operators takes responsibility for cleaning the plant and maintaining the high standard of housekeeping.
- Minimize spill creation.
- Involve the operators in all relevant aspect of the operation.
- Responsible for time keeping, including overtime and managing subordinates.
- Seek new solutions for increasing productivity.
- Safety walks and talks rounds with Snr Warehouse Manager
- Ensure warehouse is clean and dry
- Make sure that there is no spillage on the road
- Assist in other departments and areas if the business requires
- Time and attendance management.

Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification
- Relevant certificate in Production
- Working knowledge of SAP & Microsoft Office and Excel
- Customer service orientated with high working standards
- Must have over 3 years Supervisory/Management of Staff experience.
- Must have Organizational and Logistics skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive critical thinking
- Target driven - manage and motivate teams to meet and exceed targets
