We’re growing our remote team in South Africa and are looking for friendly, technically skilled professionals who can deliver high-quality IT support with a focus on clarity, consistency, and care.
What You’ll Do
- Provide remote support to UK-based clients via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on desktops, laptops, Microsoft 365, printers, and common networking problems
- Monitor client systems using RMM tools; escalate issues when needed
- Perform routine tasks like patch management, antivirus updates, and backup checks
- Log all work in the ticketing system with clear, detailed notes
- Support a wide range of small to medium-sized business environments
- Work within structured frameworks (e.g., Cyber Essentials, NEIT Way)
- Deliver friendly, jargon-free communication to non-technical users
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years’ experience in an IT helpdesk or technical support role (MSP experience is a strong plus)
- Confident supporting Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, basic networking, remote access tools
- Familiarity with tools like Datto, ConnectWise, Atera, or similar RMM/PSA platforms
- Excellent written and spoken English; clear communicator
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- South Africa-based and comfortable working UK hours (Monday to Friday)
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Certifications in Microsoft 365, CompTIA A+, or Network+
- Knowledge of Cyber Essentials or other cybersecurity standards
- Experience supporting SMEs or regulated industries
