Work as an Alarm Technician in Pretoria East, doing hands-on field work every day. You will install and fix security systems while learning new tools and growing your skills. What You Will Be Doing
- Install alarm systems, CCTV cameras, and fence alarms.
- Set up smart communicators so alarms talk to the control room.
- Find and fix problems with wiring, sensors, cameras, or signals.
- Do system upgrades and maintenance when needed.
- Write short job cards and teach clients how to use their systems.
What You Bring- 3+ years installing alarms or security systems.
- Strong knowledge of Paradox, IDS, Ajax, and Olarm (similar to knowing Python or AWS in tech jobs).
- Good fault-finding and low-voltage wiring skills.
- Valid driver’s licence and comfortable working at different sites.
- Familiar with: Alarm Systems, CCTV, Electric Fence, Security Installation, Low-Voltage Wiring, Fault-Finding, Maintenance, Rural Security.
