The main purpose of the Finance Administrator post is to support the Finance Manager to provide core administrative support to the finance function of BDCS.
Debtors/Creditors Clerk - Deliverables
Responsible for debtors
- Create and validate all invoices and send it to the client for approval.
- Prepare a debtor report and submit to Finance Manager upon request
- Hand over completed documentation for approval and authorization
- Follow up on outstanding invoices from client and notify the finance manager on any potential risk or concerns pertaining invoices.
- Reconciling client accounts (client claims, requests for credit/refund etc.)
- Accurate allocation of payments as per clients remittance advice or statement balance
Invoicing of Creditors
- Capturing and processing all invoices
- Ensuring that all payments that are paid comply with the set standards and contain all the necessary required information.
- Ensure that claims are paid timeously and correctly
- Capturing invoices into Xero from all supporting documentation supplied by the Finance division.
- Ensure that all invoices and supporting documentation is complete and approved
Administration
- Accurate capturing of documentation (opening new customer accounts on Xero, updating customer info etc.)
- Maintain and archive financial records and files
- Submit reports to Finance Manager as required
- Establish and maintain cash controls
- Monitor petty cash reserves and reconcile
- Ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered into the computerised accounting system
- Maintain the computerised accounting system and financial files and records
- Maintain the accounts receivable systems in order to ensure complete and accurate records of all funds
- Maintain the accounts payable systems in order to ensure complete and accurate records and file all documentations.
- Uniform co-ordination,placing orders check for signed AOD
Systems

- Advance knowledge Microsoft 360
